WHAT IS KIDSWHEREGPS?
KidsWhereGPS is a personal GPS tracking device that allows you to accurately locate your child when the device is turned on and activated. Specifically designed for children, this small, lightweight, 100% safe device tracks your child's whereabouts anywhere that cell phone service is available.

WHAT IS A GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM?
A Global Positioning System (GPS) is a space-based radionavigation system that provides reliable positioning, navigation, and timing services on a continual basis, worldwide. Dedicated GPS receivers (like KidsWhereGPS) can provide extremely accurate information on location, regardless of weather, time of day, and location in the world (assuming you are within cell phone range).

A GPS is made up of three parts: satellites orbiting the Earth; control and monitoring stations on Earth; and GPS receivers that capture this data. GPS satellites broadcast signals that are picked up and identified by GPS receivers, which in turn provides three-dimensional location (latitude, longitude, and altitude) information by which the unit can be accurately located.

HOW DOES KIDSWHEREGPS WORK?
KidsWhereGPS is a mobile GPS tracking unit. When the unit is active, it is in constant communication with GPS satellites that track its location and activity. The information from the satellite is available to you on your computer (through KidsWhereGPS.com) and through your cell phone, so that you always have 100% accurate information on the exact location of your child.

HOW DO I USE THE UNIT?
To use your KidsWhereGPS unit, simply attach the unit to the convenient velcro belt, and place the belt on your child. Push the power button to turn the device on, at which point the unit is tracking your child. You can also press the Geo-Fence button to activate a specified safe zone; should your child leave the zone, your will instantly receive a text message.

HOW DO I FIND MY CHILD IF LOST?
Go to KidsWhereGPS.com, login to your account, and go to the Mapping Center. Your registered device(s) will show up in the Mapping Center as you have named them. Click on the desired device, and click "Find Unit" to see the exact location of the KidsWhereGPS tracker. Maps can be seen in Road, Aerial, and Bird's Eye views, and also provide specific address information. If you are not near your computer, simply text us from your pre-registered cell phone(s), and you will be prompted to enter a password and designated device number. The location of the WhereGPS unit will be sent back to you via text message.

WHAT IS A GEO-FENCE?
A geo-fence is a "safe zone", designated by you, based on boundary parameters you've entered in the Mapping Center. A geo-fence is instantly activated with a single click on the WhereGPS device. Should the unit leave the permitted area, you will be instantly alerted via your pre-registered cell phone.

IS KIDSWHEREGPS SAFE FOR MY CHILD?
KidsWhereGPS is 100% safe for all children. The durable plastic shell is water resistant and can take a beating. The internal battery does not pose any shock hazard.

WHERE CAN I BUY KIDSWHEREGPS?
Currently, KidsWhereGPS is only available online through this website (you can purchase online). However, the product will be available in prominent retail store in the near future.
